Today a little about additions to traditional interiors… Not every new equipment is stylized as modern and minimalist. So today let’s think about it what picture for a classic living room?
A few years ago, we introduced the Italian brand Ceramiche Sonda to our market. This family workshop produces luxurious decorative and household ceramics. Intricately hand-designed and made, it is an extremely sought-after and elite product, but that’s not what I want to tell you about.
Which painting for a classic living room?
As soon as I saw the unique paintings made of ceramics and wood, I knew it was an extraordinary product. Carved wooden frames in golden color, combined with real ceramics fired in Italy made a huge impression on me….
In fact, it is not a product for every interior. It certainly requires courage, but above all, prudence, because a classic living room is not an easy terrain…
What painting for a classic living room – this question can be asked every time we are looking for appropriate and traditional art.
Of course, there is a glamor style, but I personally think that it may not work in this case.
Ceramiche Sonda paintings are unique because?
It is something like three-dimensional images, but in the classical sense of the word. The ceramic sculpture was recessed and connected to wooden frames of specific dimensions.
The ceramics themselves are multi-dimensional, so they look great on the wall, sticking out of the frames… well, sticking out of the wooden frames as well as the frames of architecture and art….
Many of our clients were unaware of the presence and prestige of these paintings. That’s why I decided to put the product on a flat surface and take a few photos. The effect is in the attached image.

Well, what kind? In my opinion, returning to the past is highly advisable. Landscapes, floristry, battles, portraits and still life. So we don’t follow the generally accepted pattern – traditionally, but very elegant!
In addition, real wooden frames, often in gold and brown. This is my classic recipe.
Once we know which painting to choose for a classic living room, let’s not be afraid of experiments and going beyond the norm. An example of this are paintings by the Ceramiche Sonda brand. It seems classic and very neat, but for me it is extremely innovative and extremely luxurious.
