At the end of May, a limited edition of luxury suitcases produced by the LVMH-owned German brand Rimowa will appear in stores. The two-piece collection of sophisticated trunks was created in collaboration with another luxury industry brand, Aimé Leon Dore. Depending on the model, a Rimowa x Aimé Leon Dore suitcase will cost between 10,000 and 15,000 PLN.

A young New York brand has joined forces with the German maker of timeless suitcase classics. The fresh perspective of American Aimé Leon Dore and the seasoned craftsmanship of Rimowa have resulted in a unique collection of travel trunks.

The Rimowa x Aimé Leon Dore suitcase gives the impression of being not only stylish but also exceptionally sturdy. On the outside, it features a dark green finish with subtle gold accents, complemented by leather handles and trims. Inside, it’s lined with brown and cream nylon—decorated with a distinctive pattern showcasing an array of ancient Greek symbols and a color palette characteristic of the American brand.

In addition to its aesthetic appeal, the suitcase retains the technical features that have made Rimowa a favorite among customers for decades. The trunk is equipped with TSA-approved locks, flexible compartments, and telescopic handles, to name just a few—the Rimowa x Aimé Leon Dore cabin case incorporates patented multi-wheel technology, making it effortless to maneuver your luggage.

Complete with leather patches featuring the Rimowa x Aimé Leon Dore logo, the luxurious Rimowa x Aimé Leon Dore suitcase will be available for retail purchase starting May 31, 2024.

Depending on the model, Rimowa x Aimé Leon Dore suitcases will cost between $2,670 and $3,880 – that is, from 10,500 to 15,000 PLN.

Aimé Leon Dore is a New York-based clothing brand founded in 2014 by Teddy Santis. Known for its unique blend of classic style and modern elements, the brand has taken the market by storm and earned recognition in the fashion world. In addition to Rimowa, Aimé Leon Dore also collaborates with popular sportswear brand New Balance.
