At the end of May, a limited edition of luxury suitcases produced by the brand owned by LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy) – German Rimowa – will hit the stores. The two-piece collection of sophisticated trunks was created in collaboration with another luxury industry brand, Aimé Leon Dore. Depending on the model, you will have to pay between 10 and 15 thousand zlotys for a Rimowa x Aimé Leon Dore suitcase.

A young New York-based brand has joined forces with a German manufacturer of timeless classics in the world of suitcases. From the fresh approach of American Aimé Leon Dore and the full experience of the Rimowa brand’s craftsmanship, a unique collection of travel trunks was created.

The Rim x Aimé Leon Dore suitcase gives the impression of a great looking, but also sturdy, luggage bag. It’s dark green on the outside with subtle gold-colored elements and leather handles and trim. On the inside, it is lined with brown and cream nylon – a distinctive pattern depicting an assortment of ancient Greek symbols and a color scheme typical of the American brand.

In addition to its aesthetic qualities, the suitcase retains the technical aspects for which Rimowa has been appreciated by customers for decades. Featuring TSA-approved locks, flexible dividers and telescoping handles, to name a few, the Rimowa x Aimé Leon Dore cabin uses patented multi-wheel technology to facilitate effortless luggage movement.

Complete with leather patches featuring the Rimowa x Aimé Leon Dore logo, the Rimowa x Aimé Leon Dore luxury suitcase will be available at retail starting May 31, 2024.

Depending on the model, the Rimowa x Aimé Leon Dore suitcases will cost between $2,670 and $3,880 – or between $10,500 and $15,000.

Rimowa is a German luxury suitcase brand, founded in 1898. The company is famous for its innovations, such as the first suitcase made of lightweight aluminum in 1937, as well as its distinctive ribbed design, which has become its trademark over time.

Aimé Leon Dore is a New York-based clothing brand, founded in 2014 by Teddy Santis. Known for its unique combination of classic style and modern elements, the brand has taken the market by storm and gained recognition in the fashion world. In addition to Rimowa Aimé, Leon Dore collaborates with popular sportswear brand New Balance, among others.
