Italian living room furniture

In an era of mass production, ubiquitous counterfeiting of brands and templating, italian living room furniture are taking on a new meaning, dedicating their uniqueness to all gourmets of good design. Perhaps many of you associate products from Italy, especially living room products, with glamour, baroque, classic and glitz, but nothing could be further from the truth, because today Italian manufacturers are opening their minds to literally every style of interior design.
If we dream of something more in our rooms, especially the living room, our first steps should be directed precisely to Italian manufactures and factories, which for centuries have developed a consistent Made in Italy brand! It is a correlation of solidity and design, peculiarities of designs combined with the highest quality materials. Because it is actually these factors that determine the successful romance of the designer and the craftsman who paint this picture in the form of a product.
Conscious shopping
Virtually everyone associates Italian living room furniture with high prices and inaccessibility, this is not quite the case, as I will prove in this material! But when looking for our coveted living room furnishings, we can get quite fooled, confused and end up with something completely different from what we imagined.
But about that soon. The main thing is to be aware, because the conscious consumer knows that you have to wait for a good thing. It’s not bread from the bakery that rises overnight, or tape-made junk food, but interior art that needs usually 4 – 6 or even more weeks, to stay with you for good.
Italian living room furniture – beware of peculiar-sounding names
Certain nomenclatures, phrases and key words can give manufacturers great success, while not necessarily being true. For the sake of image, Italian-sounding associations are often borrowed, so that a product made in another part of the world is unambiguously associated with Italy. While this is a common practice, to a large extent it has little to do with products Made in Italy.
We’re all familiar with shoes, sausages, handbags and other items with the Italian word that were never made there, so it’s kind of a worldwide trend. It is mainly due to the popularity of Italian products that have simply made a good name for themselves, and I understand that. But I don’t understand the consumer who is falling for it.
If we see a piece of furniture from Italy, in an online store and the name Italian dresser, Italian closet, or Italian sofa is often used, let’s check the manufacturer. When there is no brand information, it is hard to verify if it is really an Italian manufacturer. In most cases, it is furniture from Asia, which has nothing to do with Italy. Because when you want to make Italian salami, there must be an Italian climate, temperature, humidity and meat that comes from animals there.
Not all gold that glitters
The second check light should be the price, because it is impossible to produce a Mercedes at the price of a toddler. Natural raw materials, the best designers, handwork and experience of the manufactory are the things you pay for. This price is made up of many factors that determine what Italian living room furniture will look like and how long it will last. You don’t need to discover America to know that such products hold standards, and at the same time the price.
Because if someone is selling a leather armchair to the office for 500 – 1000 zloty, then believe me, it is definitely not Made in Italy. Average price of a decent office chairmade of leather is 4 thousand zlotys. Some things can not be jumped over, as in this case the cost of making such furniture. And you have to take into account the significant increase in the price of materials, especially in the last year.
Italian living room furniture – from Renaissance to minimalism
It is not true that Italians love only classics and the bulk of their production is traditional Italian living room furniture. To prove this, I will mention a few brands that have taken a liking to modern style. The first of these is Kreoo, who loves to combine marble with other materials.
Their creations are quite austere and cool, so as to blend in with modernist interiors. Noteworthy is the fact that the manufacturer also loves to combine different species of marble. Simple forms will work well in homes and apartments with a heavy dose of minimalism.

Design in every way
A good example of a large dose of design is Italian brand Horm, because it is her chairs that have made a huge furore. This is design with a capital D, but this is what it looks like when fascinators, good designers and visionaries from Italy take charge of the work. Horm is the influence of many cultures, which intermingle ultimately determining, as the manufacturer says, ” contemporary design ”.

And then there’s another brand, Tonelli Design, which specializes in glass furniture. It is certainly different from the other companies, clearly associated with modernity, a fresh look at design and innovative use of thick glass.

A bit of classic, baroque and glamour – Italian living room furniture
Going back to the roots, it is necessary and appropriate to mention traditional Italian living room furniture, because they are the salt of the earth. In fact, it all began with antique designs that were designed in centuries past. The furniture that determined the arrangement of mansions, castles and palaces had their own weight, appearance and class. Therefore, it is worth keeping them in mind, depending on how we want to design our homes and apartments.
Since modern style will not work everywhere, so I will show a few brands that impressed me a lot. The first of these is Modenese manufactory, which is a big nod to the classics, top quality materials and incredible reliability. They have everything in their wide range of products, even lounge houses for dogs, so there is plenty to choose from. With seriousness, solidity and tremendous quality comes a price that is also impressive.

Maybe something more affordable
On the other hand, I present a brand that is also Italian, but the prices are at a decent level. For example, the prices of showcases for the living room start above 2 thousand, so for a solid living room furniture from Italy, it is not a dizzying price. And for a few hundred zlotys you can purchase an elegant coffee table. So, as you can see, not all articles of Italian furnishings are very expensive. Of course, everything depends on the materials used and this has a final impact on the price.
Because it’s one thing to use solid natural wood and another to use plywood, the varnishes used, the thickness of the materials, or finally the time of production. There are a lot of nuances, but when we dream of better quality it always, but always comes with a price. Classic furniture from Italy makes up a very large offering in the Luxury Products store and we are really proud of that. However, we have more and more brands in our portfolio that design exclusively minimalist and modern products.

Where to start in the search for Italian living room furniture?
Already at the stage of designing your home or apartment, it is worth determining the budget we can have when looking for furniture from Italy. This will make things much easier for both us and us doing the bidding. Our portfolio includes several hundred brands from Italy, so the price range is huge. And certainly if I were in the position of a searcher, I would start with the price ceilings. There are really a lot of offers on the market today, so it’s good to know how much you ultimately want to spend.
Our customers often, when buying Italian living room furniture, choose accessories or other accessories at a lower price level. That is, the most important product is the furniture itself, they start their search with it, and for us it’s important. The second important piece of the puzzle is the style. Its determination is usually done together with the designer, who takes care of the whole arrangement.
With or without the project?
There are times when you do not use the help of interior designers, in which case we take matters into our own hands. And once we agree on the style and price range, he can offer several proposals, from among our database of brands. Often we do a visualization, so that the client can see what his living room will look like.
The more data we have, the easier it will be for us to select what you are really looking for. A lot of this Italian furniture is custom-made, so we use material samples, visualizations and catalogs. If the customer so desires, we go to the factory to show what the original furniture looks like in person.
One whole
The third extremely important factor is that Italian living room furniture should correspond with the other rooms and the yard. Often, under the influence of emotions, we buy products that may look beautiful in one room, while they blandly do not match other furniture.
Because if we already choose one consistent interior style we should stick to it. Few people then remember about their backyard, that here also you can refer to the interior design and style, so it is worth taking into account the holistic aspect. In summary, it is best to determine3 aspects – budget, style and blending in with other furniture.
Reliable Italian decorations and accessories
Our customers often select ornaments and ceramic decorations already having set up the furniture in their living room. It’s not exactly a good school, but I guess that’s the way we are. That’s why it’s a good idea to select products already on the initial search for furniture and style. Many of the accessories are dedicated precisely to the respective creations and styles we have previously chosen.
And although today it is very fashionable to break the modern style with accessories from other eras, it may not be entirely successful. And yet all you need is a good visualization of the interior made by our graphic designer and you’re done! When you are to spend sometimes tens or hundreds of thousands it is better to see a good quality visualization of the rooms, made by a professional. And this is very important.

Made in Italy obliges!
Italians surprise at every level of their production, finishing, vision and design, so the decorations are not isolated and make an obscene impression. The space of different styles is impressive, so we can choose decorations for any interior. And believe me often one large vase, mirror, sculpture or other decoration can completely change the face of your living room.
Mixing eras and styles is ubiquitous today and also we are no strangers to it, however it needs to be done with great sensitivity as well as peculiarity. In general, less and less cluttered living rooms with furniture and decorations, and more and more freedom and also comfort. Italian living room furniture loves larger spaces, because they are then the stars of the evening.
Correlation of styles
Mixing minimalism with Renaissance, or design with Baroque is familiar, but not for every designer. What’s more, I observe a disturbing phenomenon today, interior design on the ”one copy”. I’m sure you’ve seen these designs, which are more like hotel lobbies or premium restaurants.
These are usually very modern designs, but all confusingly similar to each other. As, by the way, are many planes of fashion, art, or just interior design. So it’s worth it to have good designers who look at the world of choosing and decorating differently, because, after all, it’s not about copying others.
This breaking of current trends or return to classics can be an interesting alternative to the stencils that are ubiquitous. But the most important thing is that our living rooms should not be for show, but serve mainly for our daily life. Comfort must correlate with design and quality, so that every day is a pleasure. And this is what we should stick to!
