Yurii Novytskyi – the world seen through the prism of bas-relief

Mr. Yurii welcome to Luxury Products And we look forward to working with you! I would like our customers to learn more about your work. Hence my 15 questions, which will answer us what lies beneath the beautiful reliefs that you offer on our Platform.

Where did the love of art come from in your life?

– Since I was a child I have enjoyed art, beautifully drawn paintings and bas-reliefs

What plays the most important role in your work?

– In my work, the main role is to make details of the image

Where do you get your inspiration from?

– I draw inspiration from various sources – it could be an interior seen on the Internet, it could be some detail on the exterior of a car, it could be some detail on the facade of an old building. This happens in different ways

Favorite and highly regarded artist, not necessarily a sculptor?

– For me, an example is Ukrainian designer Katerina Antonovich. I love her approach to interior design

Your reliefs/paintings are what direction in art?

– My bas-reliefs are classic bas-reliefs in art, but I plan to give this direction a modern look, combining old technologies with new ones. The Lord will surely see this in my future works

Three major events that inspired you as an author of works?

– The first event that inspired me was a visit to the Kyiv Museum of Miniatures by Nikolai Siadrist. The second was a trip to our Ukrainian saints Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. A very beautiful place!

The third was a visit to Wroclaw. I really enjoyed the old town, the churches, the streets and the atmosphere of the city

Where would they fit best, where can your paintings be hung?

– My bas-reliefs are of optimal size and can be used as decoration for living room, bedroom, living room, study, office

What do you want to differentiate yourself with?

– I want to distinguish myself by taking a new approach to classic art and introducing new technologies

Childhood for me is?

– Childhood for me is carefree, new knowledge and a constant sense of joy

Where am I going in my art?

– In my work, I always try to give people joy and comfort

The most pivotal moment in my career

– The most pivotal moment in my career was when I moved from Ukraine to Poland for permanent residence

Where do I want to be in 5,10, 15 years?

– I don’t want to guess, only God knows where I will be in 5, 10, 15 years

To whom are my paintings dedicated?

– I want my paintings to please and be consumed by the widest possible range of people

Favorite era?

– Favorite era is the 1990s

Luxury for me is?

– Luxury to me means exclusive items, and not the standard approach to familiar things
