Yurii Novytskyi – the world seen through the prism of bas-relief

Mr. Yurii, welcome to Luxury Products! We are excited to work with you. I would like our clients to learn more about your artistry. That’s why I’ve prepared 15 questions that will help us discover what lies behind the beautiful bas-reliefs you offer on our Platform.
Where does your passion for art come from?
– Since childhood, I have loved art, beautifully drawn paintings, and bas-reliefs
What plays the most important role in your work?
– In my work, the main focus is on creating the details of the image
Where do you draw your inspiration from?
– I draw inspiration from various sources – it could be an interior I’ve seen online, a detail on the exterior of a car, or an element on the façade of an old building. It happens in many different ways
A favorite and respected artist, not necessarily a sculptor?
– For me, a great example is the Ukrainian designer Katerina Antonovich. I love her approach to interior design





Your bas-reliefs/paintings — which art movement do they belong to?
– My reliefs are classic reliefs in art, but I plan to give this direction a modern twist by combining old techniques with new ones. You will definitely see this in my upcoming works.
The three most important events that inspired you as an author?
– The first event that inspired me was a visit to the Mykola Syadristy Museum of Miniatures in Kyiv. The second was a trip to our Ukrainian holy site, the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra. Such a beautiful place!
The third one was a trip to Wrocław. I really enjoyed the old town, the churches, the little streets, and the overall atmosphere of the city
Where would your paintings fit best, where could they be displayed?
– My bas-reliefs are perfectly sized and can serve as decoration for the living room, bedroom, lounge, study, or office
What do you want to stand out for?
– I want to stand out with a fresh approach to classical art and by introducing new technologies
Childhood for me is?
– Childhood, for me, means carefree days, new discoveries, and a constant sense of joy
Where am I heading in my creative work?
– In my work, I always strive to bring people joy and a sense of comfort
The most groundbreaking moment in my career
– The most pivotal moment in my career was moving from Ukraine to Poland for permanent residency
Where do I want to be in 5, 10, 15 years?
– I don’t want to guess—only God knows where I’ll be in 5, 10, or 15 years











Who are my paintings dedicated to?
– I want my paintings to be enjoyed and appreciated by the widest possible audience
Favorite era?
– Favorite era: the 1990s
Luxury for me is?
– For me, luxury means exclusive items and a non-standard approach to familiar things
