What kind of painting for a classic living room?

Today a little about the addition to traditional interiors…Not all new furnishings are styled in a modern and minimalist way. Therefore, today let’s think about it, what painting for a classic living room?

Several years ago, we introduced the Italian brand Ceramiche Sonda to our market. This family-owned manufactory produces luxury decorative and functional ceramics. Intricately hand-designed and handmade, it is an extremely sought-after and elite commodity, but that is not what I want to tell you about.

As soon as I saw the one-of-a-kind paintings made of ceramic and wood – I knew it was an extraordinary product. Carved wooden frames in gold color, combined with real ceramics fired in Italy impressed me….

Actually it is not a commodity for every interior. It certainly requires courage, but most of all prudence, because the classic living room is not an easy ground….

What painting for a classic living room – this question can be asked every time we are looking for a suitable and traditional art.

Of course, there is a glamour style, but personally I think it may not work in this case.

Ceramiche Sonda paintings are unique because?

It is something like three-dimensional paintings, but in the classical sense of the word. The ceramic sculpture has been recessed and connected to wooden frames of certain dimensions.

The ceramic itself is multidimensional, so it looks unremarkable on the wall sticking out of the frame….no just sticking out of the wooden frame, as well as the frame of architecture and art….

Many of our customers did not realize the presence and prestige of these paintings. Therefore, I decided to put the product on a flat surface and take some pictures. The effect in the attached picture.

Well, exactly – which one? In my opinion, a return to the past is most welcome. Landscapes, florals, battles, portraits and still life. That is, we do not go beyond the generally accepted scheme – traditional, but very elegant!

Plus real wooden frames, often in gold and bronze. This is my recipe for classics.

Once we know what painting to choose for a classic living room, let’s not be afraid to experiment and go beyond the scheme. Paintings by Ceramiche Sonda are such an example. Seemingly classic and very neat, but for me extremely innovative and extremely luxurious.
