What will you call your work?
It is difficult for me to define it. I did a diploma in performance and conceptual art and I am still mainly engaged in this field ( plus vocalist ). At the same time, painting and drawing are my primary daily activities.I completely don’t think about whether a particular image will be abstract, figurative, synesthesia or painted with the traditional Renaissance laser technique. These are just many of the ways I use to get the intended message. I often use already existing techniques and styles like a DJ, sometimes I create my own. It all depends on the specific concept. By the same token, I don’t like to name creativity, to limit it.
Is it a fascination with nature, or nature in a distorted mirror?
The relationship with nature is the most important relationship in the life of any being. Unfortunately, nowadays not everyone is able to realize this. I celebrate and feel this connection throughout my life and every day. It is a very conscious process and also very creative. Most of my paintings stem from and are manifestations of a deep connection with nature.

What in your art breaks the conventions of painting?
Perhaps it is this lack of tight rules, definiteness, names, assignment. What is important for me in art is absolute freedom and timelessness. I am not interested in fashions, trends, current topics.
Since when did you feel within yourself that painting would play a central role in your life?
I think it was after I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts. Finally, I could paint whatever and however I wanted, without revisions or credits.
What’s the best way to get surreal ideas?
Sleeping.

OIL. Oil is my element, sometimes I wonder about this ingenious invention. Oil paints contain the entire visible world. They can represent reality better than photography, they can also materialize other worlds, abstract ideas.

In your works, man and nature come through, which has a stronger effect on you?
Of course nature, nature.
Tell us about your overseas experience with art, how does it differ from the domestic market?
I lived in New York for several years. I also had an American scholarship in NY and San Francisco. In addition, Swiss and German scholarships. Exhibitions and appearances in London, Japan, China, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Finland, Mexico, Austria, Indonesia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Canada, Switzerland, Germany, Turkey, India. Participation in international art fairs in Vilnius, Canada and Germany. Every art market is different, it depends on the country. Where people have more money they buy a painting they simply like. In Poland people often buy what they read about in the newspaper, what the gallery advised them. They are afraid to choose for themselves:)
What is your goal in your professional life?
The goal is the process. The process of creation. Contemplation through painting.
What interiors would you like to see your art in?
My paintings fit into any interior. They look beautiful in contemporary and minimalist architecture, but also in historic architecture. I have seen my painting in a classicist palace with elements of Saxon rococo and in an art deco hotel. In private homes from the 80s and in old mansions. They also look good in factory, office interiors.

What topic will you never take on?
In art I don’t like political and also sexual subjects.I also don’t like trivial subjects. Although I sometimes paint nudes, especially male nudes and from specific live models
What do you write about in CLAM Magazine Paris?
CLAM Magazine Paris has a series of interviews with artists and famous film actors ( such as Isabelle Huppert, David Lynch ) on specific topics. I have given several interviews-articles on the topic of ” Happiness – What it is for me, “Experience, “Freshness” and similar topics. I mainly wrote in the context of art and travel experiences. I also annually recommend some Polish artists for exposure in the magazine and also Polish collectors. A whole issue on Polish art is planned.
Painting is an escape into another world?
Rather than escape, because actually I have nothing to escape from. The only exception is the progressive degradation of the environment, cutting down trees, forests. This certainly affects my work and often painting is an attempt to relieve the stresses associated with it. Other than that, painting is rather a delight in the world, contemplation of it, analysis and synthesis of phenomena.
The best time to make good art?
I paint only in daylight.
How to live in harmony with art and gray reality?
