RG Porcellane – what is the process behind porcelain angels?

It is the creation process itself—from designing, shaping the form, to firing—that is meticulously monitored at every stage. Each mold is used for a maximum of 20–25 castings before being replaced with a new original.

All this is done so that the porcelain angels are smooth and flawless across the entire surface of the figurine. So they shine and sparkle like beautiful ornaments in elegant interiors…

Firing in a kiln at 1250 degrees gives the porcelain exceptional whiteness, quality, and translucency.

The penultimate stage of the process is the application of gold or platinum, which creates an incredible and truly original effect! The combination of porcelain white and bright gold is the ultimate in decorative perfection—art with a capital A.

The second firing in a kiln at 750 degrees gives a beautiful shine and the final finish. Now, the worker can precisely place the original Swarovski crystal.
